Energy Specialist
From 21 December 2016, companies with high energy consumption are obliged to employ an independent, qualified and registered energy specialist.
Based on Government Decree No 122/2015 of 26 May 2015, your company is also affected if your average energy consumption in the 3 years prior to the reporting year exceeds 400,000 kWh of electrical power, 100,000 m3 of natural gas or 3,400 GJ of heat.
If your company’s energy bill is bigger than HUF 1,000,000, it is certain that your company is obliged to employ an energy specialist.
Carrying out energy specialist work is subject to registration, which is automatic for registered energy auditors.
